Our Hybrid Solar System for ATM powers 5 ATM machines, 8 CCTV cameras, server room, 10 computer user terminals, group of signage and perimeter fence lights. This unique system has been installed for a renowned bank in Abuja-Nigeria.
With the Solar System our Client happily safes 40% on overall cost for running diesel generator daily.
Functional Operation
This system operates on 2 pure sine wave inverter units - unit1 serves as master inverter, while unit2 is the slave inverter. The energy storage unit comprises a battery bank of Exide technology, that's robust in performance and has a lengthy lifespan of up to 15 years.
Standalone Solar Operation
If a situation occurs when Utility Power from the Grid is completely in a blackout state, the Solar System works on Stand-Alone Mode, in which solar panels delivers enough current for keeping the battery bank charged. This Solar System runs for 36 to 72 hours or more depending on the amount of load. However, we can achieve infinite run-time of system depending on Client’s requirement.
Hybrid Solar/Grid Utility Operation
When Grid power is reconnected, the battery gets charged by both the grid and solar panels. In this case the rate of charge on the battery is increased. This therefore allows battery to get its full capacity charge within 4 – 6 hours.
